Poole Museum

About

Poole Museum is a stone’s throw from the bustle and charm of Poole Quay. It occupies buildings that span from the ancient stone Town Cellars to the 21st century glass and steel atrium that forms the museum entrance.

There is a wealth of resources to keep the family entranced for hours. Imaginative displays include the massive Poole logboat and the foremost display of Poole pottery. There is also a visitor lounge and a terrace with great views of the Old Town and Quay.

Do look at our website www.poolemuseum.org.uk for latest information.

Learning

The Museum offers a range of 2 and 4 hour museum based and 1 hour classroom based workshops for schools on a wide range of Key Stage 1 & 2 National Curriculum topics. School groups are also welcome to book self-guided visits to the museum and book the education room.

We also have 20 loan boxes available for hire on a variety of topics.
