Welcome to the Members Section of the Dorset Museums Association (DMA) website.
The Association has around 30 member museums and a management committee which meets quarterly to progress the work of the association.
The DMA has a wide ranging remit but also undertakes some specific activities in relation to supporting Dorset’s museums and the staff and volunteers who work in them. Its activities include:

• Organising the Volunteer of the Year awards for Dorset Museums
• Production of pan-Dorset marketing materials, profiling and promoting museums across the County
• Coordinating targeted skills sharing and training opportunities for Dorset museum workers
• Publishing a regular newsletter for members
• Maintaining and developing the Dorset Museums website
• Hosting an AGM with guest lecturers and networking opportunities
